Kharey Masale ki Mash Daal

Ingredients

Split black lentils ½ kg

Onion 2 chopped

Black cardamom 3-4

Bays leaf 2-3

Cloves 4-5

Green chilies 5-6

Coriander ½ bunch

Inch of garlic clove

Garlic 4-5 crushed

Cinnamon leaves 2-3

Whole black pepper 1 tsp

Whole cumin 1 tsp

Red chili 1 tbsp crushed

Oil 4-5 tbsp

Salt to taste

Instructions

Wash split black lentils and soak it for ½ an hour.

Now in a pan heat oil and add black cardamom, bays leaf, cloves, cinnamon leaves, whole black pepper, whole cumin and salt to taste and fry.

Then add onions and cloves of garlic and fry.

When the onion turn to golden brown, then add crushed red chilies, green chilies, and split black lentils, mix it properly and tender.

When the black lentils get tender then add ½ bunch of coriander and cover it to simmer.

When the simmer gets done, then add inch of garlic clove slice

and garnished with ½ bunch of coriander.
