Why recepie famous for?
Makes a great side dish and it's very tasty.
Ingredients
4 potatoes sliced300 g bacon rashers diced
1 onion diced
300 ml cream
2 cups cheese grated *to taste
1 cup cheese *to decorate *extra
Instructions
In a greased, ovenproof dish spread a layer of potatoes over the base.Add layers of diced onion, bacon, cream and a handful of cheese.
Continue until the dish is full, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
Cook in a moderate oven until potatoes are soft and top is golden brown.
