Can't decide between a brownie or cookie? Why not enjoy both with these irresistible zebra cookies.

Ingredients

125g butter, softened
1 cup (220g) brown sugar
1 Coles Australian Free Range Egg
1 cup (150g) plain flour
1 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup (50g) cocoa powder
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup (190g) white chocolate chips
COOKIE DOUGH
150g butter, softened
1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar
1/2 cup (110g) brown sugar
1 Coles Australian Free Range Egg
2 cups (300g) plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 cup (190g) dark chocolate chips

Instructions


Step 1
To make brownie dough, use an electric mixer to beat butter and sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy. Beat in the egg. Add flour, bicarbonate of soda, cocoa powder and milk. Stir to combine. Reserve ¼ cup of white chocolate chips. Add remaining chocolate chips to the dough. Stir to combine. Cover and place in fridge for 30 mins or until firm.
Step 2
To make cookie dough, use an electric mixer to beat butter and combined sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy. Beat in the egg. Add flour and bicarbonate of soda. Stir to combine. Reserve ¼ cup of dark chocolate chips. Add remaining chocolate chips to the dough. Stir to combine. Cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for 30 mins or until firm.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Roll 1 tablespoon of each dough mixture into a ball. Press the 2 balls together. Place on the prepared pan. Flatten slightly. Top with some of the reserved chocolate chips. Repeat with remaining dough and reserved chocolate chips. Bake, swapping trays halfway through cooking, for 10-12 mins or until golden and cooked through. Set aside on trays to cool.
