Fish and Dill Pickled Burgers

Why recepie famous for?

A burger enjoyed slightly different. This is not only dill infused, but also uses dill pickles for a stronger taste.

Ingredients

200 g fish fillet pin-boned skinless
1/2 tsp ginger grated
1 tsp fresh dill chopped
1 tsp lemon juice
1 pinch pepper
1 pinch salt
1 red onion thinly sliced
2 hamburger rolls
1 tbs tartare sauce
2 slices cheese
2 lettuce leaves
1 dill pickle sliced
2 tbs oil
1/2 tsp oil *extra

Instructions

In a food processor, process the salmon, ginger, dill, lemon, pepper and salt.
Divide it into two and shape the mixture making 10cm patties.
Cook the red onion in a small saucepan with a half a teaspoon of oil, just so they are sautéed.
Heat oil in a frying pan and cook patties on each side for two minutes.
To assemble the burger: Place a slice of cheese in the roll followed by the patty, tartare sauce, red onion, dill pickles, lettuce leaves and with a sprig or two of dill (optional).
