This sandwich has the goodness of fruit, dairy, and meat. Try this one if your kids like the apple flavor.
Ingredients
8 slices of multi-grain bread1 cup cheddar cheese
8 slices ham
1 large apple, thinly grated
4 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
How to:Mix mayonnaise, honey, and mustard in a bowl. Spread it on four slices of bread.
Add a layer of cheese on each and top it with a two slices of ham and cored apple.
Cover them with the remaining slices and cut the sandwiches in half.
Garnish with any leftover pieces of apple and serve.
