Why recepie famous for?
This super simple raspberry basil sorbet is a delicious treat on a hot summer's day.
Ingredients
3 cups frozen raspberries1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 handful fresh basil
1 lime juiced
Instructions
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil and then let simmer for about five minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.In a food processor, blend the basil, raspberries and lime juice until smooth.
Mix the raspberry mixture together with the sugar syrup and place in a plastic container. Freeze until set, about three hours. After the first hour, stir the mixture with a fork, and continue to do this every half hour or so, to give it a lighter texture.
Serve on its own, or with some fresh seasonal fruit.
