Why recepie famous for?

A light batter that can be used for fish, seafood or vegetables.

Ingredients

1 egg
1 cup cold water
3/4 cup plain flour
1 pinch bicarbonate of soda

Instructions

Beat the egg and icy cold water together until light and fluffy.
Add the flour and bicarbonate of soda to the egg mixture and mix together quickly. Do not over-beat mixture.
Use to coat fish, prawns, scallops or vegetable slices.
