Macaroni Casserole with Kofta

Why recepie famous for?

Ingredients

400g K&N’s Kofta
1 cup Pasta
2 cup Mozzarella cheese (grated)
1 & 1/2 cup Pasta sauce
1 teaspoon Oil
Salt to taste
Ingredients of Italian seasoning:
3 tbsp Oregano (dried)
3 tbsp Basil (dried)
2 tbsp Thyme (dried)
2 tbsp Rosemary (dried)
2 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
Ingredients of pasta sauce:
1 kg Tomatoes
1 Onion large (chopped)
3 Garlic cloves (mined)
2 tbsp Olive oil
3 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp Basil leaves
Salt to taste

Instructions

Direction of Italian seasoning:
Mix all the herbs together in a bowl until combined and store in a sealed container.
Direction of pasta sauce:
Peel, deseed and chop the tomatoes and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion, garlic and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add tomatoes, basil leaves, Italian seasoning, salt and let it simmer on low flame for one hour until gets thick and dark.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Directions of kofta casserole:
Boil water in a pan, add salt and oil in it.
Add pasta and cook until tender. When done, rinse under cold water and set aside.
Prepare the K&N’s Kofta as per the instructions on the pack.
Add the pasta sauce to a large bowl and stir in the cooked pasta and K&N’s Kofta. Stir gently to coat everything well in sauce.
Spread half of the pasta and K&N’s Kofta into a baking dish. Top with half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
Sprinkle some Italian seasoning on top.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.
