How to make Restaurant-Style Mughlai Chicken
Step 1
Firstly, wash all the chicken pieces properly and take them in a bowl. Now, add salt and ginger-garlic paste to it and mix it well then add some garam masala, lemon juice to it and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2
After that, take a frying pan and add oil and let it heat. Once, the oil is hot enough, add all the chicken pieces to it and deep-fry them until they turn golden in colour.

Step 3
In the meantime, we will prepare the mughlai masala for the dish. Take a pan and add cardamom, clove, cinnamon stick, cashews and dry red chillies. Roast them for 2-3 minutes. Put the roasted masala in a grinder and grind them.

Step 4
Take out the chicken in a large bowl after deep-frying it. Take a pan and pour some oil in it, add cumin seeds and chopped onions and fry them until they turn translucent. Sprinkle the roasted masala in the onion mixture and stir fry it.

Step 5
Now, add milk and let it cook for 2-4 minutes with the lid on. Once it is thick, add some water to make the gravy. Put the deep-fried chicken and kasuri methi in it and cover the pan with a lid. Stir occasionally and cook well for about 20 minutes to let the chicken soak the flavours and taste of the spices.

Step 6
Keep the lid on for 10 minutes after turning off the flame to let everything mix up well inside the pan. Now, take off the cover and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapatis, parathas or steamed rice.
