Rasmalai Recipe using Paneer

Why recepie famous for?

Rasmalai is a classic Indian festive dessert made with milk, an acidic ingredient, sugar and saffron. ... It is a three step process – Curdling the milk to make chena or paneer, then boiling the chena dics in sugar syrup & lastly resting them in thickened milk or rabri.

Ingredients


- Milk 4 cups

- Sugar 3 cups

- Pistachio crushed 15g

- Almond crushed 15g

- Cardamom Powder 1 tsp

- Paneer 1/2 kg

- Water half cup

Instructions

1- In a cooking pan, add milk, water, sugar (1.5 cup), pistachio, almond, cardamom powder and cook until thick. Rabri is ready now.

2- Now, make the balls of Paneer.

3- In a cooking pan, add water, sugar(1.5 cup) and cook it until it becomes sugar syrup.

4- Now, add paneer balls and cook for 12-15 minutes.

5- Now, strain the balls and dip into fresh water and then cold water to make them cool and repeat this step.

6- In a bowl, add rabri, paneer balls and keep in the refrigerator for an hour.

7- Use pistachio, almond for garnishing.

Your RasMalai now ready to serve.
