Why recepie famous for?
An easy slice recipe with soaked, dried apricots and four other ingredients. So easy to make and very yummy.
Ingredients
200 g Angas Park dried apricots diced dried2 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup shredded coconut
185 g butter melted
Instructions
Soak apricots in hot water for 2 hours then drain.Add sifted flour, sugar and coconut. Pour over melted butter.
Mix well and press into a greased 30 cm x 20 cm slice tin. Bake at 180C for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and leave in tray to cool.
Once cool slices can be cut up as is or you can make a lemon icing to drizzle on top.
