Why recepie famous for?

Ingredients

Whole wheat flour (atta) 1 1/2 cups,
Jaggery (gur) grated 8 tablespoons,
Sesame seeds (til) 1 teaspoon,
Ghee 2-3 tablespoons,
Salt to taste,

Instructions

Step 1Heat a non-stick pan, add grated jaggery and two tablespoons water and cook on low heat till the jaggery melts. Remove from heat and cool.
Step 2 Mix flour, melted jaggery, sesame seeds, ghee, salt and sufficient water in a bowl and knead to make a stiff dough.
Step 3 Divide the dough into four equal portions and roll out each portion into five inch diameter rotis.
Step 4 Heat a non-stick tawa and cook the rotis, one by one, on medium heat, turning sides, till equally golden on both sides.
Step 5 Apply some ghee on the rotis and serve.
