Ingredients

4 cup milk
2 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
4 cup Water
2 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoon khoya
1 handful crushed pistachios
1 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

How to make Cham Cham
Step 1
To prepare this dessert recipe, start by preparing the chenna. In a large container, boil the milk over a medium flame. Add the lemon juice and let the milk curdle. Once done, keep the milk aside.
Step 2
Pour this milk in a muslin cloth and rinse it under running water. Then, squeeze out the excess water from it.
Step 3
Hang the muslin cloth for about an hour. Knead the chenna well and then make oval-shaped balls out of this chenna.
Step 4
Next, prepare the sugar syrup boiling sugar and water together until they achieve a little thick consistency.
Step 5
Add the chenna balls to the sugar syrup and let them soak it. Simmer for a few minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, prepare the khoya stuffing. In a bowl, mix together the khoya, crushed pistachios, and cardamom powder.
Step 7
When the syrup has cooled down a bit, remove the cham chams and place them on a plate.
Step 8
Remove the chenna balls from the sugar syrup after some time and place them in a plate.
Step 9
Slit them from between and put the khoya stuffing inside them. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds and serve.
