Why recepie famous for?

Filled with Vegemite and cheddar cheese, these super-easy savoury scrolls won't last long in the iftar

Ingredients

3 cups white bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tbs milk powder
1 1/2 tbs butter
1 tsp psyllium husk
1 1/4 cups water
1 tsp yeast
TOPPING
2 tbs Vegemite
1 1/2 cups cheese, grated

Instructions

Combine all bread mix ingredients in a a bowl and knead by hand until it comes together. Keep in a warm place to rise for two and a half hours.
On a floured board, roll the bread dough into a large rectangle. Spread with Vegemite and top with grated cheese. Working from the length of the dough, gently wrap away from you to form a log.
Cut into slices around 2 - 3cm thick and place cut-side up on a floured tray. Cover with a damp towel or cling wrap and allow to rise for another 20 minutes.
Bake in a 190C oven for around 20 minutes or until the scrolls are brown on top and the cheese has melted.
