Ingredients


1 Whole chicken
1/2 cup Yogurt
1/4 tsp Food color (yellow)
1 tbsp Green chili paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
1 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Red chili flakes
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp Lemon juice
3 tbsp Oil
Ingredients for raita:
1 cup Yogurt
1 tbsp Mint leaves
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
1 tsp Cumin seeds
Salt to taste
6 Green chilies
1 tsp Red chili flakes

Instructions

Directions for chicken:
In a bowl mix yogurt, food color, green chili paste, salt, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, coriander powder, chili flakes, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and oil.
Take whole chicken, place deep cut and marinate in the mixture.
Marinate for at least 4 hours or overnight and keep in refrigerator.
Cook chicken on charcoal until completely cooked.
Directions for raita:
In a blender add mint, coriander, cumin seeds, salt, green chilies, red chili flakes and grind until you get a smooth paste.
Mix the paste in yogurt and your raita is ready to serve with chicken.
