Why recepie famous for?
A flavouful recipe, combining fresh corn with rice and prominent taste of garlic. unusual blend of flavours.
Ingredients
2 cups soaked rice (chawal)
1 cup sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 sliced onions
salt to taste
2 tbsp garlic (lehsun) paste
10 to 12 crushed garlic (lehsun) cloves (laung / lavang)
3 to 4 chopped green chillies
4 tbsp red chilli sauce
5 cups water
Instructions
Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds.
When the seeds crackle, add the onions and garlic and saute till slighty colour changed.
Add green chillies, red chilli sauce and corn and saute for 1 min.
Add rice, garlic paste, salt according to taste. Saute 1min then add water.
Cover and cook at low heat till water absorbed.
Garnish coriander spring and serve hot.
