Ingredients

1 & 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp Oil
Water for kneading
Ingredients for daal:
2 cup Red lentil
1 cup Onion (chopped)
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Chaat masala
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Green chilies
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Turmeric
Salt to taste
2-3 tbsp Oil
Coriander fresh for garnish
Ingredients for chutney:
1 cup Tamarind water
1 cup Apricot (soaked)
1 tsp Cumin seeds
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Green chilies (chopped)

Instructions

Directions for dough:
In a bowl add flour, salt, oil and mix. Then add water gradually and knead a soft dough.
Set aside the dough for 15 to 20 minutes.
Directions for daal:
In a bowl of water soak red lentil for 30 minutes.
Take a pan heat oil, add onion and ginger garlic paste and cook until translucent.
Then add soaked red lentil and mix well for 5 minutes.
Then add chaat masal, garam masala, black pepper, green chilies, turmeric, salt and mix well.
Add water, cover and cook until water dries and lentil is completely cooked.
Directions for chutney:
In a pan add cumin and roast it for a minute.
Then add tamarind water, apricot, chili powder, salt, sugar, brown sugar and green chilies.
Mix well and cook on medium low heat until you get a smooth consistency.
Direction for puri:
Divide the dough into small ball, roll out each ball and stuff it with daal mixture.
Close it and make a ball again, now slightly grease it with oil and make a round puri.
In a pan heat oil and fry puri in it until light golden brown and crispy.
Your puris are ready, serve hot with imli chutney and enjoy.
