Steel Cut Oats (cold) in Almond Milk

Ingredients


1/2 cup of steel cut oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract, or to taste (optional; can use cinnamon also)
Dash of salt (optional)
1 or 2 teaspoons maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together and leave in container overnight in the refrigerator. The next morning, mix everything thoroughly and add any kind of fresh fruit you want (bananas, blueberries, strawberries, etc.). Serve cold.
