Why recepie famous for?

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Ingredients

Fish fillets cut into 1 inch pieces 300 grams
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Fresh garlic paste tablespoon
Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
Gram flour 1 1/2 cup
Red chilli paste 1 1/2 tablespoons
Curry leaves chopped 8-10
Green chillies finely chopped 2-3
Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tablespoons
White sesame seeds 1 tablespoon
Carom seeds 1 teaspoon
Yogurt 1/4 cup
Rice flour 3/4 cup
Oil to deep fry

Instructions

Step 1
Put fish pieces in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, salt, garlic paste and lemon juice, mix well and set aside to marinate for 25-30 minutes.
Step 2
Mix together gram flour, chilli paste, curry leaves, green chillies, coriander leaves, sesame seeds, carom seeds, yogurt, salt, 1 cup water and rice flour, mix well to make a thick batter.
Step 3
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
Step 4
Dip the marinated fish pieces in the batter till well coated, slide them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
Step 5
Serve hot with green chutney.
