Why recepie famous for?

Make the softest Dahi Bhalla with this fool-proof recipe! These lentil fritters are dunked in yogurt and topped with spicy and sweet chutneys. No celebration in my house was complete without them.

Ingredients

- Mitchell’s Chickpeas 250g

- Mitchell’s Hari Chutney 1-1/2 tbsp

- Mitchell’s Chaat Sauce 1 tbsp

- Mitchell’s Imlee Sauce 1 tbsp

- Daal Mash 1-1/2 cup

- Water ½ cup

- Salt as per taste

- Baking soda ½ tsp

- Gram Flour 4 tbsp

- Raisins 1 tbsp

- Roasted Cumin 1-1/2 tbsp

- Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp

- Chaat Masala 1 -1/2 tbsp

- Cooking Oil as needed

- Green Coriander 1 tbsp

- Onion (slice cutting) 1

- Tomato (slice cutting) 4

- Yogurt 1-1/2 cup

- Potato 2

Instructions

Cooking Method of Dahi Bhallay

1- In a grinder, add daal mash, water and grind it.

2- Now, in a bowl, add grinded paste, salt, baking soda, gram flour, raisins, roasted cumin, red chili powder, chaat masala (1/2 tbsp) and mix it.

3- Refrigerate for 25 minutes.

4- Next, in a pan, add cooking oil, prepare bhally from the paste and fry them. Also make papri from roll patti.

5- Soak Bhally in the water at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.

6- Now, in a bowl, add salt, Yogurt, cumin, green coriander and mix it well.

7- Now, add potatoes, bhally, onion, Mitchell’s Chickpeas, tomato, Mitchell’s Hari Chutney, papri, yogurt, chaat masala, Mitchell’s Chaat Sauce, Mitchell’s Emlee Sauce in it.
